There are five Chinese consulates in the U.S., and your passport must be submitted in-person to the one with jurisdiction over your state.

Consulates do not accept direct submissions by mail — so you have two paths forward: visit the consulate yourself, or let us handle it.

How It Works

We send you a prepaid FedEx label, you drop your passport at any FedEx location, and we take it from there — submitting your application, paying the consulate fee, and shipping your passport back to you.

What to Expect

Timeline. The full process typically takes 2–3 weeks. After your application is submitted to the Chinese government, they take about a week to review and approve it. Once your passport is physically at the consulate, processing takes roughly 4 days.

Need it faster? Our Rush option means we start your case the same business day we receive it, and the Consulate processes it in 3 days instead of 4. Note that all applications require a pre-approval step first - timing on that varies and is outside our control.

Traveling as a group? This form must be completed once per person. If you're applying for multiple travelers, you'll need to complete it again for each one. Each submission opens a separate case on our end.
